Bonjour tout le monde,
Quiet on set.
Ah the words we are all so accustomed to hearing on film sets.
Film and theatre have different processes, there is no denying it but both have one thing in common.
Sure, auditoning for a film is completely different than auditioning for theatre however both require an audition.
Every actor has their own personal process/ method to prepare for auditions.
For me, every moment before an audition feels as if its leading up to that moment.
The moment when you enter the room, with your headshot and resume in hand, and you find those auditioning you all together at a table.
Yout heart races.
So to calm yourself down and get into the space, you take a breath before uttering the words found on your side.
What if it was the audition of your life?
A chance to leave behind the job and the lifestyle you can’t stand anymore.
That is the story of Louis.
A 40 yr old hitman who has always dreamed of becoming an actor and is offered the opportunity of a lifetime.
L’audition is a story that will make you laugh, cringe, cry et surtout aimer.
I’ll leave you with the trailer:
A la prochaine,
De moi pour toi
